Carlisle College of the Arts Music Performance & Production

Carlisle College of the Arts Music Performance & Production Welcome to the Music Department at Carlisle College of the Arts. This page celebrates our students musical success.

Our new campus hosts some fantastic, specialist facilities, which support learners in developing their musicianship skills and knowledge alongside a great learning experience. Our main campus can provide them with current, up-to-date learning resources as well as a quiet study space in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) - Students spend their timetabled week across both campuses. Tutors are practitioners and regularly gig so fully understand the demands on today’s working musicians. The working atmosphere is renowned for being friendly and vibrant, which is what you would expect from a group of Music, Music Technology, Performing Arts, Media and Art & Design students all sharing one campus! This is what makes us quite unique as it enables us to orchestrate exciting, collaborative projects emulating an industry style working experience. The vocational courses are designed to equip students with the practical skills and specialist knowledge required to work in the music industry. Students study a variety of subjects and acquire an extensive range of specialist skills within music/ Music Tech as well as develop transferable skills which they can take with them on completion of these courses.
