The University of Cumbria (UCSU) announces the departure of CEO Daniel Prescott.
After working in different student union roles for many years, Daniel became CEO in June 2016. During his ten years, he is credited, among other achievements, with building an organisation that represents and supports its members, leading the union through the Covid-19 pandemic, and helping to shape the development of the new Citadels campus.
About his departure, Daniel said, 'It has been a genuine privilege to work with you, other colleagues and many remarkable individuals, both staff and students, over the years. I am very grateful for every opportunity I have been given to learn, collaborate and deliver benefits for students since joining St Martin’s College Students’ Union back in 1998.'
