Lovely consult today with Laura and her family. The Lifft Slings stretchy was a big hit with all of them- perfect for lovely snuggles. Also liking the Ergobaby UK omni carrier which is super versatile and easy to use !!! Baby L was very happy all snuggled up😊❤

My handsome man at the sling library Christmas meet!

I had a lovely consult with Steph and 2 weeks new baby C yesterday. We covered safety and reasons and benefits of carrying (including the all important 'getting you upstairs in Boots😉😂). Steph totally fell in love with the stretchy. There is something very special about newborn snuggles in a stretchy ❤ This one is brand new from our friends at Sling School. I was thrilled to get a message within hours of our consult, from Steph telling me she had already used the sling whilst doing the washing and including a photo of a sleeping baby 😊

Lovely to see everyone at today's last meet of the summer holidays! More new faces-so pleased that people are getting to hear about the sling library and all the benefits of slings and carriers -as evidenced by all the sleeping babies today - pure slingy magic for sure!!!
We are off on our holidays on Saturday, camping and caravanning down South, hoping for sunshine! (although this is a british summer so ....................!).
I will check in every day or 2 to pick up messages, don't forget to post in the chat group too (search for Carlisle Sling Library Chat) if you need any help or advice, lots of super knowledgable folks in there!

We are ever so proud to announce that the lovely Jo from Carried Close Carlisle has now completed her Slingababy training!
This means that she attended the 4 day course, gathered sufficient positive feedback from her customers and completed a project to benefit the wider community!
Her project was being part of the team that pulled together the first European Babywearing week.
Many many congratulations Jo! Your dedication, passion and enthusiasm are making a real difference in Carlisle and beyond. We look forward to carrying on working with you. Keep doing what you do.

These 3 are ready for tomorrow's sling meet! Hope to see you there. What are you coming to try? Do you need help with something in particular? Over 60 slings with trained independent advice to help you use your sling safely and comfortably.

European Babywearing Week starts tomorrow! The theme is 'I carry you always'.

We have a couple of things planned in Carlisle. We will have a sling walk around Bitts Park sunday 14th (assuming the weather stays bearable enough!!) and finish at the sands centre for a chat/cake!.

As always, we love to see all your babywearing photos. Let's have some fun during the week and see some themed photos! There will be a post each day with some more details/ideas for you to share your photos to, but just so that you can get prepared......here are the themes for each day!

Today we talked about the benefits of carrying, safety and had a look at some of the slings that are suitable for newborns.
