Y5/6 have had a busy couple of days completing some geography projects! The class were split in to groups with each choosing either earthquakes, volcanoes or tectonic plates to research and present to the rest of the class.

They had total free rein over what they could create and how they presented it, and they were super imaginative while also getting across all the facts.

There were PowerPoints of facts, erupting volcanoes, waterfalls and news reports, to name but a few of their ideas! 💡 a great couple of days! 🌋🌍

Our fun, small-group sessions are designed to build confidence while revising the digraphs and trigraphs they need to know for the Year 1 phonics test.

📚 40 minutes of focused phonics
🔤 Revise and practise digraphs & trigraphs
🎭 20 minutes of role play to develop speaking and listening skills
👧 Small groups for personalised support
📅 Every Thursday | 4:00–5:00pm
💷 £10 per session (block booking)

At Simple Sounds, learning is fun, engaging and confidence-building. Whether your child needs a little extra practice or wants to feel fully prepared for the phonics check, these sessions are the perfect boost.
