We’ll be hanging up our MM T-shirts over the next two weeks and going to Greece! Well, recreating Greece for the Stagecoach Performing Arts Carlisle and Cockermouth summer workshops inspired by Mamma Mia and Abba!
The Carlisle week runs from 27th July with myself directing and Helena teaching songs and dances, and we’d love to see some of our ex-Music Makers there!
No experience necessary, just a willingness to have fun whilst creating a musical in just 5 days!

Our Monday, Thursday and Friday classes all finish this week, with Wednesdays term coming to an end on 15th July, then we’ll be taking a little break over the summer to rest and recharge!

Folk musicians! Would you like to play traditional and contemporary tunes in a small multi-instrumental scratch orchestra for a day? Expert tutors from Moonrakers (cello, guitar,mandolin, whistles, accordion, harp) are running a whole day workshop in the beautiful Barbon Village Hall on 25th April. Suitable for intermediate players of all instruments. The music and a video will be sent in advance. Price includes lunch and a free ticket to the evening concert in Kirkby Lonsdsale.
