Today, Class One visited St John the Baptist Church, where we received a warm welcome from Reverend Annie Gray, who performed a baptism for us.
The children who completed the readings were amazing, and those who took on the roles of parents and godparents did a fantastic job. Together, we welcomed Leo into the church family and learned more about this special Christian celebration.
We are very proud of how confidently and respectfully the children participated throughout the service.

🏃♀️ We’ve had a great end to our Sports Week today and yesterday! 🏃♀️
Yesterday, Class 2 and 3 enjoyed some Cross-Curricular Orienteering linked to our geography learning. The children loved working together to read the map and find all the answers! Class 1 had a great PE lesson led by Mrs Hewitt working on lots of skills they’d learnt his week. To finish the day, Class 2 watched the highlights of England’s win against Croatia, we enjoyed cheering when we scored! ⚽️
Today we finished with a great session with John from Action-Ants. We all had great fun and especially loved crawling through the cargo net! Class 2 have also been learning about water safety as it is Drowning Prevention Week. They have all brought home to activity sheets to complete. 💦
What a fantastic end to the week. The children have been fabulous and given every day their all. They’ve loved trying new activities and have already asked what we’ll be doing next year for Sports Week! ⭐️

Today, we were joined by Gemma from Little Hero Sports who ran sessions all day for all of the children. There were lots of different sports and equipment being used and lots of skills learnt and developed. A fantastic day which was a lot of fun! Thank you Gemma!

Today, the children led worship, focusing on the Christian value of Hope. They retold the story of Noah’s ark and they did a wonderful job planning and delivering the service. So proud of their effort and enthusiasm!
