🧩✨ Jigsaw Joy — Round Two! ✨🧩

Today at Greenlane we re‑started our jigsaw… round two! 😄🙌
Unfortunately our first attempt took a little tumble and fell to pieces 💥🧩 — but did that stop us? Absolutely not!

We popped our thinking caps back on 🎩🧠, gathered round together, and enjoyed a lovely chat while carefully rebuilding the edges. Teamwork at its finest 💛🤝

Nothing beats a good puzzle and good company!

🧶💛 Knit & Knatter Morning at Greenlane! ☕✨

Today at Greenlane we welcomed our fantastic Knit & Knatter volunteers — honestly, they brighten the whole home the moment they walk in! 🌼🤗

Residents gathered round with a cosy brew in hand ☕, needles at the ready 🪡, and the chatter started immediately… the best kind of morning buzz! 😄💬

And guess what… I learnt how to cast on using my thumb! 🙌🧶
A proper proud moment 😀

What a morning at Greenlane! 🌟💃

We kicked off today's movement session by cranking up the tunes, waving our pom-poms high, and getting those feet stamping! 🎶🥁 Feet were tapping, hands were moving, and the energy was absolute magic! 🙌🎉

Then, things got serious (well... sort of! 😉)... it was time for BOXING! 🥊💥 We practiced our absolute best mean faces, "stuck 'em up," and worked on our right hooks and left hooks! Watch out, world! 💪🤪

After all that high energy, we grabbed the exercise bands to cool down with some gentle, calming movements to stretch out and unwind. 🧘‍♂️✨

Another fantastic morning full of movement, laughs, and great exercise! 🥳❤️

🪓🎯 Axe‑Throwing Afternoon at Greenlane! 🎯🪓

Today our residents enjoyed a fun and lively game of axe throwing — and wow, did the skills come out! 😄💪

There was plenty of concentration, steady hands, and some seriously good shots hitting the target 🎯✨. Laughter filled the room as everyone had a go, cheered each other on, and celebrated those brilliant bullseyes!

A simple game, but such a boost of confidence, teamwork and joy 🧡

🧁✨ Cupcake Day fun at Greenlane! ✨🧁

Today our lovely residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative, making the most colourful cupcakes you’ve ever seen 🎨🧁. There was plenty of hand–eye coordination on show as sprinkles, sweeties and icing were added with great concentration… and a lot of giggles 😄🍬✨

We finished off with a cupcake‑themed quiz that brought out everyone’s competitive side 🤓🎉 — and yes… we definitely ate one or two along the way 😋💛

Morning tunes and warm sunshine! 🎹☀️

​There’s no better way to start the day than sitting down at the piano for a quick morning practice. A little music always sets the perfect tone for the rest of the day.

Fidget cuffs, garden magic and jigsaws galore 🌿🧩✨

Today was all about sensory joy and gentle creativity. We explored our colourful fidget cuffs — lots of textures, lots of smiles, lots of calm 💛👐

We then headed outside to enjoy our ever‑growing garden 🌼🌱 The fresh air, the sunshine and all those blooming plants… it’s becoming such a peaceful little haven for everyone.

Afterwards we settled in together for some jigsaws 🧩🎶 A bit of teamwork, a bit of concentration and plenty of our favourite music playing in the background 🎵💚

We finished the afternoon with some lovely drawing — quiet, cosy and content ✏️😊

It’s fortnightly pamper day! 💇✨

​There’s nothing quite like having our lovely hairdresser pop over for her regular visit.

Fresh hair, great chat, and zero travel required—the absolute best way to do salon day!

Cat Day at Greenlane 🐱🎨✨

Today had a lovely quieter feel around the home… just perfect for Cat Day 🐾💛

Residents enjoyed colouring beautiful cat pictures together 🖍️😺 — lots of concentration, creativity and calm moments. We also had fun with a cat‑themed quiz, and everyone did brilliantly with the answers 🎉📚🐈

Today at Greenlane we got stuck into a brand‑new jigsaw 🧩😄 — we enjoyed finding those first few pieces!

Then stretched our legs and took a lovely walk to the allotments 🚶‍♀️🌤️🌻 Appreciating all the hard work, the buzzing wildlife, and the peaceful surroundings always brings such calm and joy.

Back home, we played several lively rounds of dominos with our friends 🎲🤗 Lots of laughter, lots of concentration… and plenty of friendly competition!
