I am so grateful for the most thoughtful class gift I have ever received. My Year 6 kids, along with my brilliant STA- Emma Howe- created me this meaningful poem. I have to admit, I did cry...❤

A little message for all Y6 parents but especially for those whose children I teach.

The power of Growth Mindset 💜

This photo just came up on my Newsfeed and is a visual reminder of how long I have been teaching. This is the same rotating chalk board I had in my first ever classroom all those years ago in Light Oaks Junior School, Salford 1999 🌳

How lucky am I?! One of my student's parents knows I have recently become a huge fan of this local author and, unbeknown to me, he actually knows him! The very kind parent went out of his way and got hold of a personalised signed copy for me 😁 I am very grateful 🙏
