At the end of the school term we discovered who our winners were in our annual sunflower competition!!

Congratulations to our three boys who took the top spots and a special mention for our number 1 as he’s took the crown two years in a row!! Well done little man! That’s quite the achievement!

Gold medal - 119cm 🥇

Silver medal - 102cm 🥈

Bronze medal - 98cm 🥉

The hardest part of our job is always the goodbyes, we’re never ready but we know these three amazing boys are going to absolutely thrive in their big school adventure!!

It’s been an absolute pleasure to be part of their early years and we couldn’t be prouder of them all!!

Today we celebrated the 3rd birthday of our little superstar!! We enjoyed cake, dancing, gifts and balloons!!

Phew!! It’s been a HOT week 🥵!!

We’ve enjoyed lots of water play to keep us as cool possible!! I think the final photo sums up how we’ve all felt during this heatwave 😅

They say the muddier the child the better the play!! Our Tuesday children certainly enjoyed this park adventure!! 😅❤️

‼️ Please be careful with garden hoses in this heat ‼️

🌡 Today temperatures are reaching around 35°C in many areas of the UK, and while spraying the kids with a hose feels like the perfect way to cool down, there is something every parent needs to know.

⚠️ A hose left lying in the sun can heat the water inside to dangerous temperatures.

💦 When you first turn it on, that water can be hot enough to cause serious burns, especially on delicate baby and young children’s skin.

😢 We know this image is hard to look at but we’re sharing it to raise awareness.

✅ Before spraying children with a hose:

👉 Always run the water for a few minutes first until it is cool
👉 Test the temperature with your hand before letting it near children
👉 Never leave a hose full of water sitting in direct sunlight
👉 Remember that babies and young children have much more sensitive skin and can burn at lower temperatures

☀️ Enjoy the sunshine, keep cool, and take those extra few seconds to make sure water play stays safe.
