Year 2 has had a busy week. They have been writing bossy verbs for their friends to follow as part of their instructional writing. They have looked at the properties of 2D shapes and sorted into regular, irregular, quadrilateral and non-quadrilaterals. They have also used their tally chart data to make a pictogram graph on Purple Mash and represented place value using dienes.
As part of our Supermarket topic, Year 2 looked at the different categories of food. They sorted food into their categories and explained the sizes of each section on the healthy food plate. Well done Year 2, what a busy week! 💻🔺🍋

Another busy week in year 3!

We’ve been continuing our journey into space, learning more about the Earth and moon and asking lots of brilliant questions along the way!
In literacy, we’ve been developing our writing by creating clear sentences, using interesting adjectives and learning how conjunctions can help us extend our ideas.
In maths, we’ve been busy comparing and ordering numbers before beginning our new learning all about 2-D and 3-D shapes next week!
We worked hard being creative and showed lots of curiosity this week. Well done, Year 3!

Year 2 have had a busy week so far. They have learnt all about yoga and practised new yoga poses. They have used dienes during lessons on place value to represent numbers in their maths and researched where different fruits and vegetables are from on the chrome-books. Gwaith da blwyddyn 2⭐️
