Our Pumpkin Patch children have been having lots of messy fun with paint!

They rolled cars through paint to make tracks, explored mark-making with brushes, rollers and sponges, and even painted their hands to create colourful handprints. A lovely morning of creativity and discovery!🎨🚗

This week has been an exciting week in Canton. The children have explored through sensory play and letter scavenger hunts. These activities provide exciting opportunities for children to learn through exploration and discovery in Nursery.
Sensory activities encourage children to use their senses to investigate different textures, colours, sounds, and materials, supporting their communication, problem-solving skills, and fine motor development.
Letter scavenger hunts make early literacy fun by encouraging children to search for and recognise letters in their environment, helping to develop letter awareness, vocabulary, and confidence with phonics.
Together, these activities promote active learning, curiosity, and engagement while supporting children's overall development💚🦒

On Saturday, we brought all of our chefs together at Head Office in Weston-super-Mare to get ready for the launch of our new Autumn/Winter menu, which started this week!

We spent some time going through the new recipes, menu changes, shopping requirements and all the important compliance checks that help keep our kitchens running smoothly.

As always, there were plenty of laughs along the way! We put everyone's knowledge to the test with a chef quiz, and a big congratulations goes to Becky from Little Adventures Nursery Stirchley, who came out on top!

We also discovered that our chefs are almost evenly split on a very important question... would you rather spend all day peeling vegetables or washing dishes?

It was a lovely day and a great chance for everyone to catch up, share ideas and make sure we're all delivering the same high standards across our nurseries. 🍂👨‍🍳
