More Home Nation action tonight in the FIFA World Cup, but our Year 7 & 8 Girls have already been collecting silverware of their own.

Smaller net, and a different set of skills but representing us as the Charlotte Hornets at the Jr Basketball Wales Finals, the team went unbeaten throughout the tournament before securing an 18-8 win in the final.

Across the whole day the girls showed exactly what got them to the final: teamwork and keeping their heads under pressure 🏀

Never mind how many 'Good Lucks' you can fit on a shirt. Look how much you've packed into the last five years.

Today is Autistic Pride Day alongside Learning Disability Week.

Autism is not a learning disability. But around 1 in 3 autistic people also have a learning disability.

We've spoken before about adapting classrooms and learning environments so students can learn in ways that work best for them. Check out our Challenge Accepted or Adapt to Learn posts from earlier in the year.
