Music and Sound Berlin Trip | Grad Fest 2024

Third year USW Music & Sound students visited the vibrant city of Berlin, exploring the city's rich cultural and subcultural history. The students toured the historical city centre, taking in the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie and the East Side Gallery, where artists have decorated the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall, as well as hanging out in chic Kurfürstendamm and bohemian Prenzlauer Berg. The visit culminated in a successful creative collaboration with students from Berlin School of Popular Arts, co-composing original songs together and performing with them at a celebratory gig in the evening.

Cerddoriaeth a Sain Taith Berlin | Gŵyl y Graddedigion 2024

Ymwelodd myfyrwyr Cerddoriaeth a Sain trydedd flwyddyn PDC â dinas fywiog Berlin, gan archwilio hanes diwylliannol ac isddiwylliannol cyfoethog y ddinas. Aeth y myfyrwyr ar daith o amgylch canol y ddinas hanesyddol, gan ymweld â’r Reichstag, Porth Brandenburg, Checkpoint Charlie ac Oriel yr Ochr Ddwyreiniol, lle mae artistiaid wedi addurno’r rhan hiraf o Wal Berlin sydd ar ôl, yn ogystal â chymdeithasu mewn Kurfürstendamm chic a bohemian Prenzlauer Berg. Daeth yr ymweliad i ben gyda chydweithrediad creadigol llwyddiannus gyda myfyrwyr o Ysgol Celfyddydau Poblogaidd Berlin, gan gyd-gyfansoddi caneuon gwreiddiol gyda’i gilydd a pherfformio gyda nhw mewn gig dathlu gyda’r nos.
