💚 Helping Hands Pantry Notice 💚

We are introducing a new system for distributing food items from the Helping Hands Pantry starting on Monday.

The changes are being made to ensure food and household essentials are shared fairly among all families who access the pantry. We ask for your patience while both families and staff adjust to the new process.

We would like to thank the vast majority of parents who have always treated the pantry and our staff with respect. Your kindness and understanding make a real difference.

Please continue to be polite and patient with us as we implement these changes.

Thank you for your support.

The Helping Hands Pantry and Free Uniform Shop will be open every Monday morning from 8:35am to 9:10am in the FPH.

To help us run this smoothly, please note our guidelines for the pantry:

* Each cupboard has a specific number displayed on it.Please only take that exact number of items from that specific cupboard.

* We kindly ask everyone to respect these rules. They are in place to ensure that food is distributed fairly for all of our families who need it.

It would be really helpful, if those attending the pantry and uniform shop, bring their own carrier bag along, as we are running incredibly low.

Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation.

🛍️ CARRIER BAGS NEEDED! 🛍️

Hello everyone!
We hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Our Helping Hands Pantry and Uniform Shop are running incredibly low on carrier bags at the moment.
If you have any spare plastic carrier bags or bags-for-life cluttering up your cupboards at home, we would be so incredibly grateful to take them off your hands!
Donations can be dropped off to the office, or you can bring them directly into the pantry and uniform shop on Monday.
Every single bag helps us ensure our families can take their food and uniform items home easily.
Thank you all so much for your ongoing support 💚

🧮 Learn Together with Your Child: Become a Number Ninja! 🌟

Mums, dads, grandparents, and carers of children in Years 1, 2, and 3 at Bryn Hafod Primary School are warmly invited to join our Families Learning Together: Number Ninjas course, run alongside Cardiff and Vale College.

This gentle 10-week program is a lovely way to step into your child's school world and support their learning in a relaxed, friendly environment.

💖 The Benefits of Family Learning:

*Spending this focused time together has a wonderful impact on young learners

*Boosts Classroom Confidence: Children absolutely love seeing their grown-ups in school.

*Working side-by-side helps them feel proud, motivated, and excited about math's.

*Simplifies School Math's: If you have ever wondered how math's is taught today, this course will show you the modern methods used in the classroom so you can easily guide your child at home.

*Quality Time Together: It provides a calm, dedicated space in the week to connect, laugh, and celebrate small achievements together.

*Earn a Certificate: You will earn formal credits and a certificate to recognize your time on the course.

🎁 An Extra Perk for Grown-ups🎁
As a nice little bonus, joining the course registers you as a college student ( this does NOT affect any benefits), giving you access to an official student discount.
It’s a handy perk that is perfect for saving you £££ on your shopping this Christmas. 💸🎄☕
