Look how much fun we had during our Music Therapy Week! 🎶🎨🥁

This week was absolutely JAM-PACKED! Our babies explored their creativity through a wonderful range of instruments, sounds, movement and sensory experiences — and we even got a little messy with paint while exploring music from Mozart and Tchaikovsky! 🎻🎨

We explored Montessori-inspired play and discovered how some of the simplest everyday objects can become magical learning opportunities for babies. ✨ We also looked at how music can support emotional regulation, body awareness, processing, connection and self-expression — all while having SO much fun!

There was so much information woven into this week’s class, with ideas and activities that families can take away and use not just during baby’s first year, but for years to come. 💛

It certainly lived up to the name Music Therapy Week! 🎵

But there’s no time to put those dancing feet up just yet… because next week we’re heading to the RANCH! 🤠🌵🐴

Get those little cowboys and cowgirls ready because it’s time to say YEE-HA! We’ve got a very busy Baby Sensory adventure ahead! 🤠✨

🎶 This week in classes, it’s Music Therapy Week! 🎶

Did you know that music may even support babies immune systems, helping their little bodies to fight infections? We’ll explore this fascinating connection alongside the many other ways music can support your baby’s development.

Babies will discover how different styles of music can help them express their emotions, support emotional regulation and unleash their creativity—with some wonderfully messy painting fun too! 🎨

It’s such an interesting week, packed with fascinating information, practical tips and simple play ideas you can continue at home. You’ll learn how music can support your baby throughout their precious first year—and for many years beyond!

It still blows my mind that some babies have never heard the sound of rain before! ☔️🌿

Rainforest Week was simply stunning—just look at these gorgeous photos! 😍

We journeyed deep into the rainforest, where our babies listened to the soothing sound of rain and explored whole fruits, including coconuts, pineapples, lemons and limes. These wonderful textures, shapes, colours and scents introduced them to so many new sensory experiences! 🍍🥥🍋‍🟩

We also lay beneath our beautiful jungle cloth, listened to the sounds of the rainforest and enjoyed so many magical, colourful activities together. It was such a visually beautiful week, filled with opportunities to support our babies senses, curiosity and development. 🌈

Next week, get ready for Music Therapy and some wonderfully messy play—I can’t wait! 🎶🎨
