ABRSM will soon be publishing information about changes to their diplomas. Anyone preparing for DipABRSM / LRSM / FRSM qualifications should be aware of this as there are upcoming deadlines for the current syllabus.
Views on the introduction of online only submissions for these diplomas have been very mixed with an opinion amongst some that it is devaluing the higher level diplomas. This may be exacerbated by the omission of the DipABRSM. Time will tell!
The new exams will be assessed in the new format from April 2024 with syllabus publication for performance and teaching diplomas released in Nov 2023. Updates to follow here as and when this happens.
