Last Saturday, the Greek School of Wales students marked the Day of Remembrance for the Pontian Greek Genocide, honouring the memory of the 353,000 innocent lives lost between 1914 and 1923.
With respect and pride, students shared elements of Pontian heritage and remembrance through presentations, music and poetry, keeping alive the history, identity, and spirit of the Pontian Greeks for future generations.

And just before Easter Break... 'Παράδοση΄ tradition was passed down from one generation to the next, bringing together parents, teachers, and the Ladies of the Church, united with Father Nicholaos, and continuing a tradition that lies at the heart of the Greek School of Wales: 'Βringing generations together!'
Καλό Πάσχα!
All children went home with koulourakia, a handmade λαμπάδα, a card, and red dyed eggs, symbols rich in meaning and love! Και του Χρόνου!

When world-class musical Mary Poppins - The Musical ☂️ landed in Cardiff, Greek School of Wales was there to experience the magic ✨... and before she flies off to her next city, our students had the wonderful opportunity to take part in a special Q&A session exploring every role that brings a musical to life: actors, musicians, dancers, stage managers, choreographers, directors, lighting and sound technicians, costume designers and the wider backstage crew.
An inspiring conversation with the cast and crew, organised by Platfform ✨
