Our Essential Skills Wales courses can support you in developing the skills and qualifications you need for your next step, whether that’s progressing into further education, an apprenticeship, employment, or just building your confidence.
Essential Skills Wales qualifications are nationally recognised and considered equivalent to traditional academic routes, including GCSEs and A-Levels in Wales.
They provide a practical, skills-focused alternative to traditional exams.
Tooth Fairies offer standalone qualifications for:
💕 Level 2 Essential Skills Wales – Application of Number (Maths)
💕 Level 2 Essential Skills Wales – Communication (English)
💕 Level 2 Essential Skills Wales – Digital Literacy
These nationally recognised qualifications are ideal for:
• School leavers who did not achieve A–C / Grade 4+ in GCSE English or Maths
• Adults of any age looking to gain an equivalent qualification
• Anyone wanting to improve their skills for work, college, university, or apprenticeships
Level 2 Essential Skills Wales qualifications can often be used in place of GCSEs at grades A*–C, helping learners meet entry requirements without prior GCSE attainment.
These courses are open to EVERYONE. You do NOT need to be a Dental Nurse student with Tooth Fairies or be looking to work within the dental sector to enrol.
