So…… I’ve been offered an opportunity by a very well known and respected professional (also famous) to contribute to a project….

The investment is £3.5k

As a self employed entrepreneur this is not pocket change by any means. It’s not money I have to splash…..

There’s no guarantees this will lead to anything or open doors, although I expect there will be opportunities that follow & many inspiring and key people up meet…..

What are your thoughts? 💭 I’d love some input from you all (my respected community)

This is the face and a celebratory cup of tea of the woman who’s finally finished her tax return 🤣

This is a big deal as this tax return has been in the diary since April, I know it’s not due till the end of January next year however the quicker I get it done and dusted the quicker I can focus on the important things!

What I’ve learnt….

Never again will I be doing my own tax return! I’m definitely going to outsource this along with many other things that take up far too much of my time when I could be using my actual skills elsewhere.

Doing it myself was supposed to save me money and give me a clear insight into my business finances which it has done.

However, I’m leaving it to the experts next time, what are you doing? That’s taking up any time that you could be leaving to the experts?

30 years ago today I stood in this exact spot and opened the envelope with my results……

Today I drop my 4 year old off for his holiday club and I find myself reflecting back…..

Results may open some doors but what really matters is building relationships, finding your passion & purpose & living a life that aligns with your values.

Letting go …..

I’ve had this denim jacket for 24 years! Over half my life, I bought it when Peter was born!

I went to Newport Topshop and paid £45 for it back then!! As you can see it’s very well worn. It’s done its job 100x over, seen me through a marriage 3 children, divorce, 100’s of concerts, nights out and so much more!

It’s time we part ways!

But why is letting go of something so old so hard?

To create space for new beginnings and new chapters we must say goodbye to old ones!

New jacket purchased!! Let’s see what adventures this one brings…..
