We will be opening up the role of Postgraduate Officer in October when all postgraduate students are in Cardiff!

Cardiff University Economics Society and Cardiff Business School Society are merging to form a big society next year! This will mean more events, trips and talks!
This merger will be reflected in our upcoming elections so every year and courses will be included next year!

Happy Women's History Month!
This month, we celebrate the incredible achievements of women everywhere, including in business and entrepreneurship. From breaking down barriers to achieving unprecedented success, women have made a significant impact on the business world.
One woman who has made a significant impact in the male-dominated banking industry is Anne Boden, the founder and CEO of Starling Bank. Boden has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry and founded Starling Bank in 2014 with the goal of making banking accessible and user-friendly.
Under Boden's leadership, Starling Bank has become one of the UK's leading digital banks, with a focus on innovation and customer service. The bank has won numerous awards for its technology, including Best British Bank and Best Current Account Provider.
Boden's success as a female entrepreneur and leader is a testament to her vision, determination, and innovation. She saw an opportunity to disrupt the traditional banking industry and founded Starling Bank to provide customers with a better banking experience.
As we celebrate Women's History Month, let's honour the achievements of women like Anne Boden and work towards a more inclusive and equitable world where every woman has the opportunity to succeed in business. Let's support and uplift women entrepreneurs and leaders, and continue to break down barriers and create a world where gender is not a barrier to success.

As we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month, we honour the many brave individuals who have fought for equality and justice for the LGBTQ+ community. From Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, who were at the forefront of the Stonewall riots, to Chris Smith, who became the first openly gay MP in Britain, to modern-day activists like Lisa Power MBE and Phyll Opoku-Gyimah (Lady Phyll), who are breaking barriers and changing hearts and minds, we owe so much to these trailblazers.
Their struggles, their triumphs, and their sacrifices have paved the way for progress, but we know there is still so much work to be done. We must continue to fight against discrimination, hate, and ignorance, and strive for a world where everyone is free to love and be themselves without fear or shame. Therefore, Cardiff Business School Society take a zero-tolerance stance against any form of discrimination/discriminatory behaviour.
This month, let's take the time to learn about LGBTQ+ history, to celebrate diversity, and to stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ community. Together, we can create a world that is more just, more compassionate, and more beautiful for all.
