The Wonderful Wardrobe

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me recently to attempt to book A Wonderful Wardrobe party. Its lovely to know that we are still rembered. Unfortunately despite restrictions being lifted Im still not back up and running yet. Having not worked for 18th months the Wardrobe Van is not in a great state and needs quite a bit of work to get it back on the road. That along with the costs of running your own business eg public liability, Insurance etc means financially there are a lot of outgoing that need to be sorted before I can get back on the road.

I completely agree. Our sector has been completely overlooked.

Covid: Baby groups 'forgotten' as Wales' restrictions eased Parents and those who run baby and toddler groups call for indoor restrictions to be lifted.

How would you feel guys if I told you this...

➡️ In England Baby & Toddler classes can reopen indoors face to face on the 12th April

➡️ Some Local Authorities in England have recognised Baby classes likes ours as vital Support Services for new Parents and have allowed them to continue indoor face to face classes during lockdowns. This includes Tots Play classes over the border. Confirmed fact.

➡️ In Scotland they have been able to run outdoor face to face classes during this lockdown. This includes Tots Play classes, confirmed fact. They are able to return to indoor face to face classes on the 26th April.

➡️ In Wales? No date, no recognition of the needs of parents with young children.
Review date of the 22nd April for organised activities. We guess we come under that. Start date late April/early May for both indoor and outdoor face to face classes?

➡️ Outdoor Activities for Children can resume in Wales from 27th March but this appears to be only for holiday clubs for school children from the one scrap of information published by WG so far. This will be confirmed on the 26th March.

➡️ This comes despite our campaign including our Petition which has now been reviewed and is with WG awaiting their response, being mentioned by MS Bethan Sayed at the Senedd, being on the radio, being mentioned at the Kirsty Williams briefing by Hannah at LBC and being on BBC Wales today. We will keep fighting!!!
