Happy Easter! Eggs are traditionally a symbol of fertility and rebirth but also symbolise the empty tomb of Jesus. Some traditions even paint the egg red to represent the blood of Christ. It seems that the Easter egg can be traced all the way back to the early Christians of Mesopotamia. That is a long time ago!
