🚨 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗚𝗢 𝗨𝗣 𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 🚨

If you’ve been thinking about coming to our big Salsa Buena SBK Party on Sunday 18 October…

TODAY is the day to book. 🔥

At midnight tonight, our Early Bird prices end:

But if you’re still wondering…

“Am I ready for a social yet?”

The answer is: you do NOT need to be an experienced dancer. ❤️
We have dedicated Salsa and Bachata classes before the party, including BEGINNER classes, so you can arrive, learn something, meet people and ease into the night.

No partner needed.
No pressure to dance every track.
No need to know loads of moves.

You already know what you’ve been missing. ❤️
Packed dance floors.

Rohan is renowned for his energy, brilliant classes and his seriously fun line-ups…

And yes — there WILL be Rohan line-ups. 😄🔥

He’ll be teaching Improver / Intermediate+ Salsa and Bachata, then helping us keep the dance floor moving as one of the UK’s top SBK DJs.

Whether you’re brand new, an improver wondering if you’re ready, or someone who’s been waiting 9 months for our weekend parties to return…

THIS is the night to come along. ❤️🔥

Let’s get the Salsa Buena weekend party crowd back together. 💃🕺

30/09/2026

🔥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦 𝗔 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦. ❤️🔥

You know those evenings where you get home from work, sit down for “five minutes”… and suddenly the whole night has disappeared?

Thursday doesn’t have to be one of them.

These photos are from another brilliant Latin Revolution night with Salsa Buena upstairs in Cardiff city centre last week.

A busy room.
A packed dance floor.
People learning.
People laughing.
People meeting.
People dancing.
And an awful lot of very happy faces. ❤️

Because sometimes what you need in the middle of the week isn’t another night in.

It’s music.
Movement.
People.
Laughter.

And a couple of hours where you’re having far too much fun to think about anything else. 💃🕺

That’s what Thursday nights at Latin Revolution with Salsa Buena have become.

And the best bit?
You don’t need to already be a dancer to belong there.

Never tried Salsa before? Come.
No partner? Come.
Feeling a little nervous about walking in on your own? Come anyway — plenty of people do exactly that.

Used to dance and keep promising yourself you’ll get back to it?
Consider this your invitation. 👀🔥

Because Latin Revolution isn’t really about filling a room.
It’s about filling a room with people who are genuinely glad they came.

And judging by last week’s photos…
I think we’re doing rather well at that. 😉❤️

So instead of looking at next week’s pictures thinking:
“That looks like such a good night…”

Come and experience it for yourself.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗟 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗟… 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 — 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗜𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘. 👇

Here’s Shahid & Angeliki demonstrating last week’s Improver 2 routine, built around the classic Salsa Barrel Roll.

It’s a really popular move — and a great example of why we don’t just teach people a sequence of hand movements and say:
“Right… now copy that.” 😄

Because the Barrel Roll is actually a lovely combination of some really important Salsa fundamentals.

The follower still needs to TRAVEL through the turn rather than simply being spun on the spot.

The leader needs to create the pathway, give the turn clearly and get their own rotation in at the right moment.

The hands need to give information without dragging, pulling or forcing.

The shoulders need space.

The connection needs to stay comfortable.

And both dancers still have to arrive in the right place, on time, ready for whatever comes next.

When all of that is right, the move can feel almost effortless.

When it isn’t… two people very quickly end up fighting each other with their arms. 😂

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗪𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡.

Not just:
“Left hand up… turn… duck under…”
But WHY the hand is there.
WHEN the lead needs to happen.
WHERE the follower needs to travel.
HOW much lead is actually required.
And what both people should be doing with their body, footwork, folllowers styling and timing to make it work.

Because learning another 50 routines isn't necessarily what makes somebody a better social dancer.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀. ❤️

Angeliki teaches alongside Shahid on Mondays for our Improver/Intermediate classes, bringing her fantastic eye for follower technique and styling — and, importantly, joining the rotation and giving leaders feedback on the quality and clarity of their lead too.

And Shahid brings that same technique-first approach to the Salsa classes across our other nights.

Moves are great.

But understanding 𝗵𝗼𝘄 to dance them is what makes the difference. 💃🕺

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗮.

Sometimes… Salsa is where the confidence comes from. ❤️

These are just a few moments from our very popular classes in Cardiff and Cowbridge last week.

People arriving after a long day at work.
People learning something they thought they’d never be able to do.
People laughing when it goes wrong.
People suddenly realising… “Hang on — I’m actually dancing!” 😄

And somewhere along the way, a room full of strangers starts to feel like a room full of people you know.

That’s the bit you can’t really explain on a timetable.

The music.
The laughs.
The little wins.
The escape from everything else for a couple of hours.
The confidence that builds week by week.

And yes… quite a lot of Salsa and Bachata too. 💃🕺

If you’ve been following us for a while thinking:

“I’d love to try that… but I’m nervous.”
“I’ve got two left feet.”
“I wouldn’t know anyone.”
“I need to get fitter first.”

Please don’t wait until you feel “ready”.

Our Beginners classes are specifically designed for people starting from scratch, and you absolutely do not need to bring a partner. We also have improver/intermediate level classes for the more seasoned (and for when you eventually reach those levels!).

We’ve been teaching people to dance in Cardiff for 20 years — and practically everyone you see smiling and dancing in these photos once walked through the door for their very first class too.

📍 Monday – Rhiwbina, Cardiff
📍 Tuesday – Cardiff City Centre
📍 Wednesday – Cowbridge
📍 Thursday – Cardiff City Centre

Salsa classes from Beginners to Imp/Int+ every week. Including Bachata on Tues & Thurs.

Autumn is always one of our busiest times of year, so if you fancy joining us, please book your place in advance.

Come for the dancing.

You might be surprised by everything else you get from it. ❤️

𝗔 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗔 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗𝗡’𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔 𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗘… 👇

It should teach you why the routine works.

These are a couple of the routines from last week’s Salsa Buena Improver and Intermediate classes in Cardiff & Cowbridge, demonstrated by Angeliki and Shahid.

When we teach partnerwork, the aim isn’t simply to get everyone from move 1 to move 2 to move 3.

We want you to understand it.

For leaders:
How do you make the lead clear without forcing it?
Where should your hands be?
Where should your body be?
When does the lead actually happen?
What makes one lead feel smooth…and another feel awkward?

For followers:
How do you respond without anticipating?
How do you keep your balance, timing and movement?
And once the technique is working, where can you start adding your own styling and personality?

That’s why we break things down, explain the mechanics, demonstrate them from different angles, join the rotation, watch people dancing and correct the little details that can make a HUGE difference.

Because memorising more and more moves doesn’t necessarily make somebody a better dancer.

Understanding what you’re doing does. ❤️

And after 20 years of teaching Salsa, that is still one of the things I care most about in our classes.

Angeliki is now back teaching alongside Shahid on Monday evenings in Cardiff for our Improver/Intermediate Salsa classes. She brings a fantastic eye for follower technique and styling, while also jumping into the rotation and giving leaders really useful feedback on the quality and clarity of their lead.

Be sure to include our Monday evenings in your class list for these important extras.

The same technique-focused approach runs through the Salsa classes I teach across our other nights too in Cardiff & Cowbridge.

So whether you’re just starting out, moving into Improvers, or you’ve been dancing for years and want to make your dancing cleaner, smoother and more enjoyable…

We want you to leave class knowing a little more than just “what comes next.” 💃🕺

Want to learn with us?

Salsa Buena classes every week in Cardiff & Cowbridge.

✅ Beginners through to Intermediate/Advanced
✅ No partner needed
✅ Friendly, structured teaching
✅ Technique as well as routines
✅ Plenty of practice and individual feedback

Classes are getting busy at this time of year, so advance booking is recommended.

And judging by these photos from last week across our Cardiff & Cowbridge nights… I think the autumn rush has officially started. 😍💃🕺

There’s something about this time of year.

Summer holidays are over.
The evenings are drawing in.
Strictly is back on the TV…

…and suddenly everyone seems to get the urge to DANCE with Salsa Buena. ❤️

Every year, September onwards is one of our busiest periods at Salsa Buena — and we’re already seeing our classes filling up again.

Just look at last week. 👇

Packed dance floors.
Loads of familiar faces.
Loads of new faces.
People learning, laughing, dancing and forgetting about everything else for a couple of hours.

Exactly how a weeknight should feel. ❤️

And we absolutely LOVE seeing the classes like this.

But it does mean one little request from us…

🙏 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘.

If you know you're coming, don't leave it until the last minute.

Our class nights can get very busy and places are limited — and as we head further into autumn, there will be evenings where we simply can't fit everybody in.

Booking early means:

✅ Your place is secured
✅ You don't have to wonder whether we'll be full
✅ It helps us plan the classes properly
✅ And you've got something brilliant in the diary to look forward to 😁

And if you've been watching all these photos thinking…

"I really should come back…"

or

"I've been meaning to try this…"

Take this as your little nudge. 😉

You don't need a partner.
You don't need experience.
And you certainly don't need to wait until you feel confident enough.

Just book yourself in and come join us.

The hardest bit is usually walking through the door the first time.

After that, you may wonder why you didn't do it sooner. ❤️
