Croeso i Gymraeg/ Welcome to Welsh !!

We are continuing to encourage the use of Welsh across our school through our Phrase of the Fortnight initiative.

This fortnight’s phrase is:

"Ga i... os gwelwch yn dda?"

Meaning: "May I...?" or "May I have... please?"

This is a useful phrase that pupils can use every day in lessons, for example:

Ga i pen os gwelwch yn dda? (May I have a pen, please?)

Ga i help os gwelwch yn dda? (May I have help, please?)

We encourage families to practise this phrase at home and support our pupils in using Welsh wherever possible. Pupils who use the Phrase of the Fortnight in class will earn a Siarad Cymraeg Praise point.

Diolch for helping us promote and celebrate the Welsh language both in school and at home!
