CHALK YOUR WALK!

My town is doing this, and I would LOVE to see pictures from anyone else who is taking part.

Get the kids outside (we all need the fresh air) with some chalk. Draw colorful pictures and write encouraging messages to your neighborhood.

Then later, take a family walk (keeping social distancing in mind!) to check out the encouragement around you.

If you're out of chalk, you can make some of your own chalk paint by mixing a cup of cornstarch with a cup of water. Mix it super well and then add some food coloring if you want. Use fingers or paintbrushes!

My sweet friend MANDY C. sent this picture to me and told me I could share it with you! Put your own pictures in the comments below.

We know the next few weeks are going to be a mixed bag of chaos and confusion. Working from home with the children around can seem daunting but we have collected together some entertaining activities you could do together, split into handy sections, to make the most of those long days. To get you started try out these fantastic yoga cards and let your children choose which ones they want to try out for the day.
