Saplings Out of School Care

So today has been non stop busy! The children have had so much fun creating bracelets and Hama beads, making dens, playing outside, hunting for animals, playing games, having a sing and dance, making and decorating cupcakes and even having their faces painted! Unfortunately there aren’t many photos as I forgot to take pictures 🙈 but please feel free to add any of your children’s face paints if you would like 😁

It’s PIZZA time 🍕 the children have had so much fun creating their own pizzas and enjoyed eating them too 😋

So I failed miserably yesterday at taking photos! Some would say because we were having too much fun!!! But the children enjoyed making snakes, making masks, having a bit of a sing song, creating animal/ jungle scenes and of course we had PANCAKES 🥞

Day one of our jungle theme and the children have been busy painting, making dens, colouring lots of different animals, playing outside and being wild at heart 🦁 tomorrow we continue our jungle mayhem mixed with PANCAKE DAY 🥞 see you tomorrow 😋

Hi this is Becca - I just wanted to write a little message as I have had lots of questions this week about me leaving and wanted to clear any confusion 😁 so yes I am pregnant again with baby No.2 due at the end of March 💕
it’s not been an easy decision but I have decided not to return after having the baby due to child care and finances and I want to be able to spend the time with them while they are both still young ♥️

I have loved my time at saplings and I’m going to miss every single child! It’s been an emotional week already and I only imagine that it’s going to get harder. My last ‘term’ day is tomorrow however I will be running the half term sessions Monday to Thursday so for many this week is my final goodbye 😢

I have been so lucky to be apart of the saplings team over the past 5 1/2 years and the staff I have worked with (past and present) and even luckier to have a manager such as kath who truly is so supportive and wonderful!
I have thoroughly enjoyed running the holiday clubs and it makes me feel so humble the lovely comments we have had about the children attending them 🙂 I’m so proud of all the children and want to wish them all the best for the future!!!

So for now I’m not quite ready to say goodbye but if I answer the door red faced and look like ‘allergies’ have got the better of me… you know why 😭

Just to let you know our October half term holiday form is now available! We are running Monday- Thursday and have limited availability so as always it will be on a first come first serve basis.
