Little Friends

This morning, we read 'A king and his wish' at circle time which led to the children making a rocket out of junk modelling and blocks to try to reach the moon!

We shared our curiosity, problem solved, transported resources, worked collaboratively and used our imagination as we reached the moon!

We challenged ourselves by climbing the ladders and creating a tower block to reach for the sky!

To end the morning, we used our digital board to watch a real rocket and astronauts from nasa blast off to the space station!

Our garden & marquee is open (heating available), we have plenty of fun for children including soft play, games and mud kitchen 🩵

You can also hire our garden area for FREE! 1 -2 hours a week to host community meetings, mum/dad clubs, kids clubs, walkers, cyclists, healthy eating clubs, knitting clubs or any small events etc. (12 people or under)

A child’s parent kindly brought in fresh eggs laid at home, which we used to make egg muffins for snack time. The children enjoyed helping with the preparation and learning about where eggs come from.

Later, the parent brought in the chicken that had laid the eggs, giving the children a wonderful opportunity to meet the animal in person. This experience helped the children make meaningful connections between the food they eat and how it is produced, while also encouraging curiosity and respect for animals.
