Getting ready for our Pre-Schoolers leaving beach party.
they will all be bringing in their swimsuits and towels.
Should be a great day and a great send off for them in their next amazing adventure of school.
Where has the time gone that so many of my little ones are now growing up too quick. Some of these have been with us since babies.
Love you all and will never forget you. Huge hugs and kisses from us all that have had the pleasure of looking after you.

Sorry it has been quite some time since I have added to Day Care's page.
However to inform you that it is our annual summer fete on SATURDAY 15TH JUNE 11am - 3pm.
Tell everyone as all are welcome. The more the merrier.
My challenge is on again this year and I am very worried. I have not heard a whisper of what they are going to do to me this year. Thank you to those who have sponsored me already. I just hope they have the shower cleared and ready for me!
The entrance will be at the baby end (number 45) and through the door to the garden.
Entrance is 50p adult, children and OAP's 30p
Fingers crossed for nice weather.

This is our imrovement to our garden. There is now a permanent cover over the older babies and our younger toddler area.
The big red gate has now gone and there is a smaller door, which will be starting to be used over the next few weeks.
This shade is excellent during this hot weather and will give us a dry area during the rain.

Thank you to everyone who supported our summer fete on Saturday.
A fun day was had by all who attended, although I am not sure about me 😊 after my trial of the Day Care Centre Spa.
On the day we took £886.73 and that is without my sponsor money.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank family and staff who helped out and without whose help this event would not be able to take place. Alex how are the singed hairs on your arms and the sunburn neck. Good job everyone I cannot put into words how grateful I am to you all.
I will try to post a video of the 'spa' as soon as I can. I have to see about uploading it and then posting it. Watch this space to see how well I do with that task!!

In 2010 we won NDNA Nursery fo the Year award. We have not applied for this since but we are entering this year. We pride ourselves on the very high standard of care we give to each child, our relationships with our parents and children, and the way we know every individual child's needs. My staff are an amazing lot and really enjoy what they do. We have great fun caring for these children while all the serious things are going on. The voting closes on the 31st March so I will let you all know if we are shortlisted. The winners will then be announced on the 22nd June at an event in Coventry. Fingers crossed we get the votes and comments required for shortlisting. I have checked today, and this was just after announcing to all parents that we are doing this, and there are already some excellent comments along with the votes. I cannot thank you enough for the amazing things you have said about us.

Happy New Year to everyone. It is now our second week back and all children are settled back and enjoying life and our new children are settling in well.

Pre-School museum trip 4.8.17

What an exciting morning for our pre-schoolers. A trip to the museum to see the baby dinosaur exhibition. Dinosaurs is their theme. As you can see a wonderful time was had by all, staff included. I was so disappointed that I could not go but they told me all about it. There are so many photographs that I am putting an album together for you to see.

The rain never stops us playing - or me. We had them in our waterproof all in ones. I could have done with those too.

Just look at what my pre-schoolers have been doing today. Science project with a volcano to fit in with our dinosaur theme. We also have a new edition to this room today and his name is Denver. The children love him. Photo of Denver to appear shortly. He is a little shy at the moment.
