Our motto is "bendy, giggly, clever and strong..." which is what we would like all our children to become. Behind the quirky and fun character and yoga stories lies thorough developmental theory. Now after 8 years, we have perfected our award-winning national programme, and it is recognised by childcare professionals as being at the forefront of children's developmental activities. I hear this a lot from the moms I meet with. It’s any version of “I’m just a mom” or “I don’t know who I am anymore.” Motherhood can be so consuming that we feel like we’ve lost parts of ourselves.⁠

I named my online course “Keeping Mommy in Mind” for this purpose. It’s imperative that we bring the focus back on us. This doesn’t mean we stop focusing on our children and families. This means we place much-needed attention on our own needs so we can be more than “mom.” When we do this we’re able to experience more joy. We’re also able to navigate challenges with greater ease because we’re not running on empty.⁠

Pose of the Week: 🕷️ S P I D E R 🕷️

This week we've been on another new adventure with Tatty Bumpkin practising our breathing techniques, moving mindfully and relaxing at Wobble Farm. Our pose of the week was spider pose, which is great for:


🕷️ refining visual tracking skills and promoting fine motor skills

🕷️ promoting and strengthening the connections between the right and left hand sides of the brain

🕷️ increasing alertness and supporting self-regulation

🕷️ strengthening the core muscles

🕷️ learning to use our breath as a tool to deal with emotions
