MEET YOUR SU TEAM 2026/27🪩🕺

Hey everyone, Tiggy here!👋

Today marks my last official day as SU President after 2 amazing years in the role, so I just wanted to pop on here to say a few thank yous!

A massive thank you to my SU Teams, Deio Williams, Asher Penny, Brendo Santana, Nina Martin, Izzy Jackson, Molly Bradley, Niamh Pragnell Toal, Maddie McCabe and Jennie Beard. Being a Vice President is a lot of effort alongside studying and you are all very talented, wonderful people and I don’t know what I would have done without all your hard work. A big thank you to those students (particularly SMTT helpers and those of you who organised bands every week!) who helped with events throughout the year and saved us at LMT's many times!

Thank you to all the students from 24-26! Nothing would have happened without your engagement with events, societies, campaigns, feedback or anything really, so thank you!! I hope you’re having a restful break as I know a lot of exciting events are in the works for Freshers Fortnight already…

Congratulations to the new SU Team - Heini, Olly, Charlotte, Harri, Eve and Nefeli. I know you’re going to be wonderful and I’m so excited to pass the baton and see what you guys do next year🥰

The last 2 years I have been able to represent RWCMD and the SU nationally and internationally with Conservatoires UK Student Network, AEC, NUS Cymru | UCMC and Classical:NEXT, which has been invaluable for learning how conservatoire education is developing and how we should run the students union. It’s amazing to say that Royal Welsh SU is one of the best😜

Best of luck to all graduates and current students at RWCMD! You all have very bright futures and I’m looking forward to hearing what you all get up to next🥰

It’s hard to put into words what an incredible, amazing, challenging job SU Pres is, and to express how grateful I am to have been elected into the position twice🩵. If any of you are ever thinking of running for SU President in the future, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and ask any questions!
