We currently have spaces at Ladybirds Day Nursery and we’d love to welcome some new families to our nursery.

We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6pm, making us a great option for families looking for flexible childcare around their working day.

We also offer wrap around care for children attending Danescourt Primary School and Ysgol Groes Wen. For children attending Ysgol Groes Wen, we provide a minibus service.

At Ladybirds, we want children to feel happy, safe and settled from the moment they arrive. We provide a caring and welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, play and build their confidence at their own pace whilst creating a home from home feeling. Our aim is to make nursery a place where children genuinely enjoy coming each day, while giving parents peace of mind that they’re well cared for.

💦SUPER SPLASH DAY💦

This week we had our super splash day. A day full of water fun, we had a paddling pool, several water themed tuff trays, buckets, jugs and plenty of changes of clothes🤣 Every single child had the biggest smile and loved throwing buckets of water over the staff, working together to see who they could soak the most! Little days like this mean a lot to the children.

Crazy hair themed wraps for tea tonight to celebrate our crazy hair day! We’re so grateful to all our children and parents who took the time to participate. The hair styles were amazing and so creative!!

Today is all about The Hungry Caterpillar 🐛 the children have enjoyed exploring the local area looking for caterpillars & butterflies this morning & are now enjoying their caterpillar picnic 🦋

We’re so grateful to have received lovely gifts from our children and families that are getting ready to begin their adventure in Reception!🐞☀️

DRESS UP DAY 2026!

Yesterday our nursery and holiday club all dressed up for dress up day! We had so much fun, we had super hero’s, princesses, animals, footballers, ladybirds, bingo, cow girls and more. A day of smiles and fun😊

What a fun day we have had in Holiday club today! ☀️
We started off the morning, getting to know each other after welcoming some new friends and playing games before having our snack and heading to the local park. We had so much fun before it was time to head back for our lunch! The walk back constisted of laughs, races and little conversations. This afternoon we worked together to create pictures and cards to drop off at our local care home to bring smiles to brighten their day. The children worked really hard creating pictures for the residents and the care home kindly gifted us some biscuits for the children’s kindness, “these are delicious”😋

It was another trip to the park before den making, duck duck goose, football, bracelet making, arts and crafts, colouring, cutting and sticking, board games and ping pong competitions. Successful day at ladybirds holiday club everyone left with a smile 😊
