From Michelin Guide recognition to nursing graduation! 🎓💙

After more than a decade building some of Cardiff’s best-loved restaurants, including Michelin Guide- recognised Nook, Cardiff alumna Deb Lewis has embarked on a remarkable new chapter, graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing (Adult) from Cardiff University.

A mother of three and successful restaurateur, Deb returned to study after being inspired by the compassionate care nurses provided to a close family member. Her journey is a powerful reminder that it's never too late to follow a new calling.

Swapping restaurant service for patient care, Deb will soon begin her career as a registered nurse, bringing with her the resilience, teamwork and people skills honed throughout years in hospitality.

Congratulations, Deb, on this incredible achievement and inspiring career change. We wish you every success as you begin making a difference in patients' lives. 👏

Their journeys reflect the dedication, resilience and ambition that define our student-athletes, balancing academic success with elite sporting performance and going on to compete at the highest level.
