Tots Play Cardiff North

☀️ Whilst my weekly classes & Courses close during the school summer holidays so I can spend some time with my daughters, I will be running 9 special Summer Party sessions featuring 🍃outdoor Sensory play🍃
at my brand new Summer Party venue !

We recently enjoyed our Mums Night Out here and I can’t wait to bring my themed sessions to the conservatory & out into the massive garden (weather permitting, if it’s rainy we’ll still enjoy our sessions inside!)

Plus they’ll be an open invite to stay after every session for a coffee or lunch together! Why not stay and have a chat & relax!! ☕️ 😀

My Summer Parties this year are:
🐻Teddy Bears Picnic - Tuesday 28th July - including Teddy Bear Parachute play, Rainbow Spaghetti Play, Jelly Sensory play, teddy water play, my Colourful Sensory collection (Discovery Tots) and more!

🏖️ At The Beach - Tuesday 11th August - including giant beach ball parachute play (Social Tots), Under the Sea Sensory Canopy (Discovery Tots), Taste Safe sand play, Rockpool Sensory tray, water play, Pirate Sensory Treasure (Discovery Tots) and more!

🌺 In the Garden - Tuesday 25th August - including Pondy Parachute play, Taste safe ‘soil’ veggy digging patch, duck pond water play, Sensory fish pond, Natural themed Sensory Play (Discovery Tots and more!!

☀️ 9.45am Social Tots Parties (suitable from crawling to 3 years)
☀️ 11am Younger Social Tots Parties (suitable from crawling to 15 months/pre-walking)
☀️ 12.20pm Discovery Tots Parties (8 weeks to crawling)

✔️Each ticket admits one Tot and up to 2 adults!

✔️Sibling Discounts available - family ticket admits two siblings to the same party

✔️Older siblings age 4+ are welcome to come for free, please book them a free space so I know they are coming!

✔️Younger siblings under 7 months old - are very welcome to come for free to the Social Tots Parties with their older sibling, with no ticket needed!

I’m not a Nursery Owner 😉 but…

Because while the headline of 20 free childcare hours a week from 9 months to 4 years sounds like a good idea, what about…

➡️ The pressure everyone is under from all costs that have risen dramatically the last few years, while the big companies continue to post insane profits. More & more families who can’t afford food - that’s just not right

➡️ The mental health effect on Mums having to go back to work sooner and working more hours, missing out on those fundamental early years with their little ones. This, in my opinion, is surely a mental health ticking time bomb.
We last saw this during Covid times when groups stopped and we even had to reopen classes outdoors - the impact on the mental health of Mums with babies and toddlers was perhaps unexpected by the politicians but which I campaigned hard about

➡️ The impact on childcare facilities of the funding which doesn’t fully cover their costs. Because while Nursery fees are expensive, staff costs, rent, rates and the long list of costs are really high too & Government funding does not fully cover that

➡️The impact on small businesses like mine who work hard to provide safe environments for Mums and Dads to connect, bond with their babies & toddlers while boosting their Tots development and who potentially face closure due to less customers - talking to my colleagues in England where 30 free childcare hours a week from 9 months to 4 years is already in force we know this to be true

Not only is the costing of policies important, but so is the actual effect on society
