My name's Kate and I've been running Tots Play Cardiff North since September 2014. My Award Winning classes are so much fun, while giving your little ones a developmental boost! We have a great mix of activities in each session - Baby & Toddler Yoga, Sign Language, Music & Movement, Instruments, Baby Massage, Story Massage, Bubbles, Sensory Play and loads more! All designed to intrigue, stimulate and encourage your little one to develop their senses through play!

🧡I have 5 different classes, suitable from Birth to 2.5 years old.:
💙Baby Development (Birth to 6 months old)
💙Discovery Tots (8-12 weeks to active crawling)
💙Younger Social Tots (crawling to 15 months)
💙Social Tots (crawling to 2.5 years)
💙Daddy & Me classes - once a month on a Saturday morning

All of my sessions are very friendly and welcoming! We help to support Parents and Carers to build friendships at classes.

🧡Open invite after each class to go into Jump Soft Play (directly next door) for FREE together after each class, or for a coffee & cake over the road at Moo Moo's Coffee Shop inside Llanishen Leisure Centre

🧡The perfect first class for you and your baby 🥰

I’d love to welcome you & your little one along to my Baby Development Course! Only 6️⃣ spaces remaining for my Courses starting in early November!

🧡Suitable from birth to 6 months old, in relaxed, friendly, small groups, my Course is a great way to make new friends in a safe & welcoming space!

It doesn’t matter if your little one cries, needs feeding, changing or a sleep, you are so welcome to tend to your baby as you need to 🥰
My Courses are brilliant for bonding with your new baby 🥰 & is as much about you as it is your Baby 🧡

Listen to this!! These mums didn’t know each other before coming to my Baby Development Course, where the chatting, coffees & support begun! ❤️
They’ve moved up to Discovery Tots together this term, met new friends at this class too and this is what my social Sensory Play section sounds like 😍😍

😟 If you’re worried no one will talk to you at baby or toddler classes, I COMPLETELY understand how you feel, as a mum myself. It can be really daunting can’t it, walking into a room where you don’t know what’s waiting for you.

😍 But a warm welcome for all and inclusive classes are what I’m all about. You’ll leave with a smile on your face and an open offer to go for a coffee or a play in Jump with the others from your class ❤️

🎃 My Halloween Parties are back from Tuesday 20th October to Friday 23rd October at your usual class times!
🎃 PLUS 2 PAYG Halloween Parties for pre crawlers ADDED on Tuesday 20th & Thursday 22nd October, open to all & all welcome!

🎃 My Discovery Tots classes are all totally full with waiting lists this term 😮 (thank you SO much!!) so I’ve added these extra Parties to try & keep up with demand!!

🎃 If you’ve a crawler or a walker up to 2.5 years, I’ve limited spaces available at my Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Younger Social & Social Tots classes, which INCLUDE my Halloween Parties AND my Christmas Parties in your term booking!! 🎄 ❄️ All welcome!!

🧡To us it’s a tray full of bowls, spoons & foam shapes…to them it’s 🟣 shape soup 🟦 and they’re in the kitchen stirring, scooping and pouring a culinary masterpiece!
They’d have played with this station for a lot longer if we had more time! 😍

Play doesn’t have to be fancy or ‘perfect’, their little imaginations just need the time & space to grow & develop ❤️

That’s why my class set ups are simple, so you can think “I’ve got something like that at home, that looks easy to set up and sort out, let’s have a go”

Because it’s not meant to be *too* pretty to play with, it’s meant to actually BE played with 😜

But it’s ok, you can leave the messy play at class 😂 I’ve got you 😁

So you know how we put pressure on ourselves to be the perfect mum, for example like we’re bombarded with on the old socials? 😬

💪 We’re meant to do it all, have it all & be genuinely happy and not at all crazy while juggling babies, toddlers, children, jobs, partners and our own mental health and needs….theres not enough time or energy right 😵‍💫

😴 I don’t know about you but it’s blinking knackering!! Mentally & physically!!

🧡We talked about this this week at my Baby Development Courses - we had a chat about things we are finding tricky and things we are grateful for - because while we are super grateful for our children and love them so much we don’t have to love every.single.minute…real life’s NOT Insta perfect and it’s so good for our mental wellbeing to give ourselves a break!! 🥰
Talking about this in a safe space with people who get it - how good does that feel!! ❤️❤️
It got very emotional & there was so much support in the room

😍 Not forgetting the beautiful babies, who were super lucky this week as we added back massage strokes to our full body baby massage routine - super calming and soothing & a lovely end to your massage routine at home 😍

Then we worked on the babies Sense of Touch using our tickly feathers 👋 A beautiful game to play in the week together!

Rounded off by a coffee & chat together after class😍 lush! ☕️

Two beautiful classes this week, thank you so much for coming! I’m loving having you all along!!

📣 Help needed!! Let’s keep Daddy & Me Saturday classes running once a month!!

I’ve no pretty pictures to show you from Saturday’s classes, because 95% of the families who came didn’t want to be in my photos and I completely respect that 💯.

🧡This month’s Social Tots class (crawling to 2.5 years) was lovely & busy but I’m looking for more Daddies who would like to come to my Discovery Tots class (10 weeks to crawling)

🩵We’re a friendly bunch with a mixture of returning Daddies (thank you so much guys!!) and new to Tots Play Dads coming for the first time!

🧡So if you know a Daddy who might like to join us for my next Daddy & Me classes on Saturday 10th October in my very own room at the wonderful Caerleon Child Care Cardiff - Llanishen please can you help me spread the word?

🩵Each class is packed full of activities to enjoy together, easy ideas to take home & a chance to chat with Dads with Tots of a similar age in a low pressure, friendly environment!

🧡 Partners, what you do with this time - a cuppa, one on one time with older children, a nap… - is totally up to you 🥰

❤️ We’re heading back to the fabulous The Pantmawr Inn next month!!

😍 Come on your own or with friends from class - everyone will get chatted to & included! We’re a friendly bunch😍

➡️ If you’re currently coming to my classes & courses there’s an email in your inboxes (may be in spam/promotions/junk etc)! You all get priority over spaces as a thank you for coming this term 😍
