Dolphin Swimming Academy

At Dolphin Swimming Academy we provide swimming lessons to children from age 3 upwards. We offer small class sizes (max 6 children per class).

Dolphin Swimming Academy is a family run swim school operated by a husband and wife team Richard and Charlotte Green, with the support of our amazing team of swimming instructors. As parents of a 4 year old little girl who loves the water we understand the importance of children learning to swim, by making sure that they learn through having fun in the water. At our swim school we provide swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities. Our aim is not just to get the children swimming, we want children to enjoy each lesson, have fun and love being in the water. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me and if you would like to book a place for your child onto any of my classes please give me a call or drop me an email.

🎀 WE’RE OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🐬💦

Yesterday we celebrated a very special milestone as we gathered with our amazing team, friends and family to cut the ribbon and officially open our brand-new Dolphin Swimming Academy pool! 🎉

After months of planning, building, problem-solving, delays and plenty of hard work behind the scenes, it was so special to finally have everyone together to celebrate what we’ve created. ❤️

We gave our guests a tour of the new facility, shared a few drinks, had plenty of laughs — and of course, some of us couldn’t resist getting in the pool! 🏊‍♀️😂

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without our incredible team, family, friends and all the people who have helped bring our vision to life.

A huge thank you to Oasis Pools for all your hard work, support, guidance and knowledge working with us on this massive project - couldn’t have done it without you guys!

And now… the exciting part! 🥳

From Monday, we can’t wait to open our doors and welcome all of our amazing swimmers to their new swimming home.

Here’s to a brand-new chapter for Dolphin Swimming Academy! 🐬💙

A lot of schools are closing early, or closing entirely over the next couple of days, and you and / or your children may be looking to cool off in your local lake or river

⚠️ Just remember the water safety code: if you get into trouble, stay calm, float on your back and call for help.

Cold water shock can happen to anyone, even on a warm day. Your instinct might be to panic, but the best thing you can do is float.

🛟 Tilt your head back and keep your airway clear
🫁 Relax and focus on your breathing
🌊 Spread your arms and legs to stay balanced
🤲 Gently move your hands if needed
📞 Once calm, signal for help or swim to safety

If someone else is in trouble, don’t go in. Throw them something that floats.
