This is a 2 year part-time, course for teaching in post 16 settings - adult education, community or youth work, FE, HE, vocational training. Diverse teaching and a flexible course with good career options.

We are recruiting for the next cohort of Preparing to Teach in PCET, starting 9th September 2024.
There is also the opportunity to study for Preparing to Teach in PCET on Tuesday afternoons and evenings (2 pm - 7 pm) Tuesday 17th September 2024 - Tuesday 19th November 2024.
This 10-week preparing to teach course has been developed as a teaching toolkit offering 10 credits at Level 4. There is the option for certification at this stage which is linked to a professional requirement to undertake 20 hours of teaching in a professionally relevant situation. In addition, there is the opportunity to extend your study and progress to Part Two of either the PGCE PCET for graduates or the PCE PCET for non-graduates offered at Cardiff Met.
