Mother-of-two Esma Izzidien had a passion for Montessori education and was convinced her it was the best way for her children, and others, to learn. So she started a Montessori parent and toddler group with eight children in a village hall - a decade on she's expanded it into a secondary school with 80 pupils, 20 staff, and a glowing Estyn inspection report. If you have always wanted to gain AMI assistant certification but haven't been able to travel to London to gain it, this may be on interest. The Maria Montessori Institute (MMI) is the only UK training centre to offer the globally- recognised Association Montessori Internationale training – the gold-standard of Montessori training. The courses are delivered face to face and this usually means travelling to London to gain qualification. We are very excited to announce that the MMI will be running a 3-6 assistant course for the first time ever in Wales at Cardiff Montessori!
