🏆 The PE Direct Cup, a nationwide football tournament for special schools, was a huge success today! ⚽👏🏽

It was fantastic to see so many pupils showcasing their skills, teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout an exciting day of football.

A huge congratulations to YBC, who were crowned Champions League winners, and Maesgwyn, who lifted the Championship trophy! 🏅🏆

Yesterday Rob headed over to Ebbw Fawr to deliver training and had one of those unexpected, full circle moments.

He bumped into Joe Smith, a real blast from the past. Joe worked with us around three years ago as a Teaching Assistant at Ebbw Fawr, and it was great to see how far he’s come. He’s now a Pastoral / Behavioural Lead, making a real difference in the school environment.

It’s a brilliant example of what working with PE Direct can lead to. The skills you develop, from communication and relationship building to adaptability and leadership, don’t just stay within one role. They open doors.

Whether it’s progressing within a school setting like Joe, or moving into other areas of education and beyond, PE Direct can be a genuine stepping stone for long term career development.

These moments highlight that our role is about more than the job, it’s about helping people move forward in their journey.
