Soniarus Sounds

After a weekend full of creativity, connection, questionable sleep choices, and enough stimulation to keep my nervous system guessing for a week, last night we gathered in circle to come back to Earth. 🌿

As summer unfolds, the Earth element reminds us that growth isn't just about blooming, it's about being rooted. Tending what matters. Protecting our energy. Knowing what is ours to nurture and what isn't ours to carry.

One of the great teachings of Earth is boundaries. Nature doesn't apologise for them. Trees only take what they need from the soil. Roots know where they end and where another begins. The Earth teaches us that boundaries aren't walls, they're the conditions that allow life to flourish.

Through meditation, ceremony, sacred sound, and a surprisingly emotional pile of rocks, we explored the question:

What is mine to carry, and what can be lovingly returned to the Earth?

Our altar was woven from the wisdom of the season:

🌿 Willow, flexibility & intuition
🌳 Oak, strength & boundaries
🌻 Sunflowers, joy, abundance & summer energy
🌼 Meadowsweet, sweetness & harmony
💜 Lavender, calm & restoration
🌙 Mugwort, intuition & inner vision
🌱 Soil, transformation & growth
🖤 Tourmaline, grounding & protection

Together we listened, rested, reflected, and returned what no longer belonged to us back to the Earth.

Because sometimes healing isn't about carrying more. Sometimes it's about remembering that not every burden is ours to hold.

May this summer bring rooted growth, strong boundaries, and the wisdom to know the difference between what you are responsible for and what you can gently place back into the hands of the Earth. 🌿✨

Some connections seem to come full circle in the most beautiful ways. ✨

I first met Danielle at Blue Lagoon Festival through our mutual friend Marcos, who created the beautiful community space Yurt in the City. Marcos has since passed, but his spirit and the connections he brought together still continue to ripple outward.

Now, through synchronicity and shared paths, I’ve found a new home for my work at Victorian Studio within Danielle's space. It feels deeply meaningful that this new chapter traces back to those moments of community, healing, music, and connection.

Grateful for the people who open doors for us, the spaces that hold us, and the unseen threads weaving everything together. 🤍
