After an incredible 10 years of keeping our learners safe in the Hydro Pool, it's time for us to say goodbye to Scott as he starts an exciting new chapter in his new role as an HLTA.

Over the past decade, Scott has been so much more than our lifeguard. He's been a friendly face, a supportive colleague, and of course, our resident prankster! 😆

But don't worry... he didn't get away SCOTT free! 💦

As a fitting send-off, and in honour of all those years spent around water, a top-secret playground water fight was the only way to celebrate! 🌊🔫☀️

Thank you, Scott, for your dedication, commitment, laughter, and all the memories you've helped create. We wish you every success in your new role and can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll achieve.

After 43 incredible years at Ty Gwyn, it’s hard to find the words to truly capture what Anita means to our school family.
For more than four decades, Anita has been so much more than a colleague. She has been a constant presence, a friendly face, a listening ear, a source of comfort, wisdom and unwavering support to generations of pupils, families and staff.
Through changing times, new beginnings and countless milestones, Anita has helped shape the heart of Ty Gwyn. Her kindness has touched lives in ways that can never be measured, and her dedication has left a legacy that will continue long after today.
The classrooms, corridors and community she has been part of for 43 years hold thousands of memories, moments of laughter, challenges overcome, friendships formed and lives changed for the better because she was there.
We say goodbye to a truly remarkable member of our Ty Gwyn family, with hearts full of gratitude and admiration. While retirement marks the end of a chapter, the impact Anita has made will remain woven into the fabric of our school forever.
Thank you for every smile, every word of encouragement, every act of kindness, and every year of dedication. You have given so much of yourself to others, and now it is time for new adventures, well-deserved rest, and precious moments with those you love.
