It’s wonderful to be starting a busy new term of painting classes in the Art Workshop Rhiwbina studios. Here’s just one of our regular art groups, Tuesday evening Experimental Acrylics, embarking on their latest project with artist tutor Petra Couper. Can’t wait to see what they’re going to be making

Hi 👋 everyone, we’re excited to be launching our newest course for Kids: Comic Club! Weekly classes for 7-13 year olds, starting from Wednesday September 16th at 4.30pm!
This will be the first time we’ve offered a course teaching the Art of cartoon, animation, graphic storytelling, anime and more, with artist tutor Leah Smart. A huge Comic enthusiast, Leah has a BA Hons in Illustration from Falmouth university art college and is a PGCE qualified art teacher. She has a wealth of fascinating ideas to bring this wonderful Art form to children. Leah is already teaching in our Junior Art Academy with Petra Couper, where children can learn about a wide range of Fine Art forms in their own weekly mini Art College, but if they’re keen on cartoons, comics and animation then Comic Club is the place to be, in our Rhiwbina Art studios on a Wednesday after school. One hour classes suitable for beginners, all you need is enthusiasm!
This Autumn term will be for six weeks, then it’s October half term week, and the plan is to return and have Comic Club as another regular fixture in our busy Art Workshop course calendar.
Places are already going fast so sign up now for Comic Club, and for Junior Academy termly Classes too! Book via the website: www.theartworkshop.co.uk.

Thank you for being part of this new Art adventure!
That’s All Folks 😉
