A reminder everyone of the upcoming Rhiwbina Festival Summer Exhibition and mural making, it’s a week on Saturday, 27th June. Exhibition opens at 2pm in the studios, and it’s open house all afternoon. Do join us to view works by all our groups, everyone welcome, friends and families too.

We are all very sad to hear that David Hockney passed away today, aged 88. Amazing artist, what a great mind and such a work ethic, seems like he never stopped. He’s been an inspiration in so many of our courses for his clear thinking and unapologetic stance, helped to give lots of our learners confidence in their own decisions and abilities. This is the poster for his fantastic exhibition in Paris last year, 70 years of work, using the oldest and newest technologies in art. It’ll stay up in the studios to remember him.
