Hollies Daycare Nursery Cardiff

Another successful visit from our very talented Parents.

We have enjoyed getting creative in preparation for our favourite story to be read to us in Dutch. We practiced using different languages and listened to the similarities in sounds between English, Welsh, French, Dutch and German. Dank Je Lloyd.

Rebecca and Ross have shown us how to use important equipment to check if we are fit and healthy. We pressed buttons, learned about oxygen and listened to our own heart beats. We even had a go at pipetting water into test tubes and learned about separating blood to find DNA.

Here is our Pre-school room (2) enjoying Birthday Week. We loved getting messy, baking, a Moo Music Cardiff South session and our Crazy hair salon!

1-2's have enjoyed st Davids Day and world book day this week

Today we had a visit from Matt from Dim Problem Studio who showed the children how he paints and writes signs! The children really enjoyed painting their own letters and learning some new skills 🎨👩‍🎨👨‍🎨

Here are some photos of the 3-5 room - last Friday it was random act of kindness day so they visited the vets and doctors surgery to say thank you for helping the community.

This week the preschool rooms and the 3-5's have been able to make a few visits out of nursery. The children caught a bus to the city centre, visited the Stadium and went to Sanatorium park and Victoria park!
