📣 Is your child starting Reception in September 2027?

Now is a good time to start looking at the schools you’d like to apply for, ready for applications to open in November.

If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, applications through Cardiff Council open on 16 November 2026 and close on 15 January 2027.

Even if your child attends a nursery class at your preferred school, you still need to apply for a Reception place. Nursery places don’t automatically transfer to Reception.

We know this is an exciting next step for our little ones as they get ready for their school journey! 🎒✨

🎓✨ Our Crown House Graduates 2026✨🎓

We recently shared a very special evening celebrating the achievements of all our wonderful graduates, and what an emotional occasion it was! 💛

Many of these children have been part of the Crown House family since they were tiny babies. We have had the privilege of watching them grow into the confident, caring and unique little individuals they are today.

As they begin their exciting new chapter at full-time school this week, we would like to wish every one of them the very best of luck. We know they will continue to learn, grow and shine brightly wherever they go. 🌟

We are going to miss them all so much—their smiles, their personalities, their funny little ways and everything that makes each of them so special.

Go and shine, little stars! We are incredibly proud of you all and hope you come back to visit us soon. 👑❤️

🚓👮‍♀️ Police Fun Day! 👮‍♂️🐴

Last Thursday, the children had a fantastic time visiting the Police Fun Day at Western Leisure Centre!

They loved meeting all the mascots, having their faces painted and seeing the police horses. They also had the exciting opportunity to sit inside a police car, set off the siren and dress up in police uniforms! 🚨

It was a fun-filled day with so many exciting experiences for the children. A big thank you to everyone involved in organising such a brilliant community event—we all had a wonderful time! 💙

🐻🌿 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗦 🌿🐻

We enjoyed a lovely day exploring St Fagans, and our nursery bear 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝗲 joined us for the adventure too!

We visited the old houses, chatted to the wonderful people there about how people lived in the past and stopped by the old fashioned sweet shop. 🍬🏡

After our picnic, we walked through the woodlands, spotted a little caterpillar 🐛 and finished our day with lots of fun in the park!

A busy day filled with exploring, learning and plenty of smiles! 💚
