Our sessions at Brodies - On The Wall are designed to feel easy, relaxed, and welcoming — set in a cosy, creative coffee-shop space with a lovely community feel.

They’re ideal if you are:

✨ Trying life drawing for the first time
✨ Wanting to try something new
✨ An experienced artist wanting practise

There’s no pressure, no expectations, and no need to be “good” — just bring a sketchbook (or use our materials) and see where it takes you.

Settle in with a coffee, meet like-minded people, and enjoy drawing from a professional life model at your own pace.

Part of our fortnightly guided Life Drawing series

Hi everyone, just a quick update about life drawing.
I’m still in the process of finding a new venue. I want you to know that I have been actively trying, but the Christmas period has definitely slowed things down a bit. Many venues have been closed, busy, or less inclined to take on anything new at this time of year.
I would like to stay true to promise, and find us a welcoming space that we can use long term, with access to amenities, refreshments and proper heating (especially for the models!).
I really appreciate your patience and support while I work on this, and I’ll share an update as soon as I have any concrete news. I’m very keen to get the class up and running again as soon as possible.

Hi everyone, I've emailed most of you, but just a quick post to say that life drawing won't be happening as usual tomorrow in Tulips. There have been some changes to the venue which means we can't host there right now, but we will be back up and running in the new year! Thank you to everyone for coming to the sessions, and watch this space - life drawing shall continue soon! # # #

Small Group Life Drawing Session – Featuring New Models! (10 spots available) 🎨

We’re running an extra session next week to give some new models the chance to see what it’s like to pose for artists — and we’d love you to join.

This will be a lovely, low-key evening with:
- A calm, supportive atmosphere
- A smaller group of artists (more space and focus!)
- The chance to draw from several different models throughout the session
It’s a rare opportunity to capture a mix of poses, body types, and characters all in one evening — while helping new models build confidence in a friendly environment.
