Blossom Tree Nursery is 9 today! 🌸🎉

Nine years ago today, we opened the doors to Blossom Tree Nursery for the very first time. It’s hard to believe how quickly those years have passed and just how much has happened along the way.

Today, we’re incredibly proud of what we have built. 💗

Over the past nine years, so many wonderful children have walked through our doors, each bringing their own little personality, smiles, laughter and memories. We’ve had the privilege of watching them learn, grow and blossom before eventually heading off on their next adventures.

We are so grateful to every family who has trusted us to care for their little ones. Being chosen to play a part in those precious early years is something we never take for granted. To the families who have supported us, recommended us, returned with younger siblings and continued to stay in touch long after leaving — thank you.

And, of course, Blossom Tree would not be what it is without the amazing staff who have been part of our journey. Past and present, every member of our team has helped shape the nursery into the place it is today. Your hard work, care, patience, creativity and love for the children have created so many special memories over the years. 💕💕

Like any nine-year journey, there have been plenty of ups and downs. We’ve faced challenges, difficult days and times when we’ve had to adapt, learn and keep going. But we’ve come through them stronger, together, and they’ve made us even more grateful for where we are today.

Nine years of learning.
Nine years of growing.
Nine years of laughter, friendships and memories.
Nine years of watching little ones blossom.

To every child, parent, carer and member of staff who has walked through our doors and become part of the Blossom Tree story — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

A nurturing home-from-home for our littlest Blossoms, from 6 weeks to approximately 18 months. 🤍

Every baby is unique, which is why we follow their individual routines, providing a safe, loving and stimulating environment where they can feel secure, build confidence and begin exploring the world around them.

Friday 21st August 2026 was an incredibly emotional day as our team came together to say goodbye to our wonderful Director, Danielle. 🌸

Many of you may not have had the opportunity to know Danielle, as she had been bravely fighting an awful illness for the past three years. But those who had the privilege of knowing her will know just how kind, caring and compassionate she was, and how deeply passionate she was about the wellbeing of others.

Danielle gave so much to Blossom Tree and, in particular, to the wellbeing of our staff. She genuinely cared about the people around her, and that is something we will continue to carry forward as part of her legacy.

Although Friday was filled with sadness, it was also a beautiful opportunity for the team to come together, support one another and remember Danielle — sharing stories, laughter and so many wonderful memories of everything she did for us.

Those memories will stay with us forever, and Danielle will always remain a very special part of Blossom Tree.

Rest in peace, Danielle. You will never be forgotten.

🌸 In Memory of Our Wonderful Director, Danielle 🌸

Danielle has asked for no flowers at her funeral and did not want money to be spent on flowers.

Instead, Danielle’s family have asked that anyone who wishes to pay their respects considers making a donation to City Hospice, a charity that was very important to the family.

Blossom Tree Nursery has set up a donation page for anyone who would like to make a contribution in Danielle’s memory. Every donation, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will help support the incredible work carried out by City Hospice.

Thank you for helping us honour Danielle’s wishes and celebrate her life in such a meaningful way. 💗

Following an emotional and challenging week, our wonderful team took some well-deserved time this morning to pause, breathe and recharge during a series of yoga sessions led by Ming. 🧘‍♀️🌸

At Blossom Tree Nursery, we believe that supporting our team’s wellbeing is essential in creating a happy, healthy and positive workplace. Taking time to care for ourselves enables us to continue providing the very best care, compassion and support to the children and families we work with every day.

A heartfelt thank you to Ming for delivering these calming and restorative sessions and giving our team the opportunity to come together, reset and focus on their wellbeing. 🌸💚

A healthy team is a stronger team, and we are incredibly grateful to invest in the wellbeing of our wonderful staff who care for our little blossoms every day.
