Ar hyn o bryd rydym yn annog y plant i feddwl am y gair ‘Perthyn’. Beth mae hyn yn ei olygu i nhw, sut olwg sydd arno a sut mae hyn yn gwneud iddyn nhw deimlo.
Mae'r plant yn aml yn estyn am ein llyfr sgrap sy'n cynnwys lluniau mae'r rhieni wedi eu hanfon i mewn, o hoff bethau'r plant. Mae o wedi datblygu i fod yn adnodd gwych i annog trafodaeth o fewn grŵp, ac i’r plant ddysgu mwy am ei gilydd.
Rydym wedi gweld y plant yn portreadu eu hunain neu y bobl y maent yn eu caru yn ystod gweithgareddau creadigol megis yn yr ardal gwaith coed, trwy waith clai, casglu adnoddau naturiol a sesiynau gwneud marciau.
Un enghraifft hyfryd o sut mae’r plant yn defnyddio’r gair ‘Perthyn’ yn eu gweithgareddau dyddiol yw gyda GWAITH CLAI. Gweithgaredd rydym wedi bod yn gwneud mwy o ymdrech ymwybodol i'w osod allan ar gyfer y plant, gan fod nifer o staff wedi gweld lefelau ymgysylltu da gan blant o wahanol oedrannau 2-4 oed.
Symudodd y plant ymlaen o wneud cynrychioliadau o’u teulu i amrywiaeth o bethau, megis coronau, anifeiliaid, cacennau, tai a choedwigoedd.
Ail-bwrpaswyd rhai o'n addurniadau Nadolig eleni a'u hychwanegu at ein gweithgareddau clai er mwyn ymestyn archwiliad y plant o wead yn ogystal ag ehangu eu syniadau a'u mynegiant creadigol.
Belonging
We are currently getting the children to think about the word ‘Belonging’. What does this mean to them, what does this look like and how does this make them feel.
The children often reach for our scrapbook that includes photos the parents have sent in, of the children's favourite things. It has become a wonderful resource to encourage discussion within a group, and for the children to learn more about each other.
We have seen that the children have been portraying themselves or their loved ones during creative activities such as in the woodwork area, through clay work, collecting natural resources and mark making sessions.
One beautiful example of how the children are using the word ‘Belonging’ in their daily activities is with CLAY WORK. An activity we have been making more of a conscious effort to place out for the children, as a number of staff have observed good engagement levels from children of various ages 2-4 years.
The children moved on from making representations of their family to a variety of things, such as crowns, animals, cakes, houses and forests.
We re-purposed some of our nursery decorations this year and added it to our clay activities to extend the children's exploration of texture as well as broaden their creative ideas and expressions.

We are delighted to announce that we have received an EXCELLENT grade in all areas assessed in our recent ESTYN inspection!
We would like to thank our families for taking the time to complete the ESTYN questionnaire, it was lovely to hear some of the things that were noted by our families.
But mostly, we would like to thank our team of absolutely amazing practitioners.
They all work very hard every day to provide the highest level of care and education to the children at Si-Lwli, and we are delighted that the report truly reflects the wonderful individuals they are, and the excellent team they make.
