The old-fashioned abacus 💛 🧮
The abacus maybe old-school and not aesthetically pleasing, but it’s full of modern magic and is a great tool for little learners.
Children love moving the beads, and without even realising it, they’re strengthening their fine manipulative skills, their hand–eye coordination, and early counting awareness. As children slide the colourful beads, they’re exploring patterns, colours, and building their focus and curiosity.
It is such a tactile, simple, surprisingly calming, screen-free way to spark a love of learning!
The abacus truly deserves more love in our modern classrooms and homes. 💛🧮
