Digital Technology Learning Support Network (DTLSN)
The network, supported by a digital platform
Summary of the Project: This research project is about setting up a Digital Technology Learning Support Network (DTLSN) in the Blaenau Gwent (BG) region. The network, facilitated by a digital platform, will provide an innovative learning experience that works with the whole community, teaching the children, the parents and the teacher together. This testbed project aims to enable a cohesive learning support for pupils, teachers and parents during the initial implementation of the new curriculum in Wales and the new GCSE Digital Technology qualification, commencing in September 2021. By authentic, we mean a network that has a real-world relevance for all stakeholders. For example, it will provide the opportunity for participants to undertake activities and lessons that allow for creative and computational thinking, competing innovative solutions and diversity of outcome. In doing so, it will establish a dialogue between school children their parents, teachers and enhance their engagement with digital technology. In the long term DTLSN will help to create a more inclusive and diverse ICT culture in Wales. Rhwydwaith Cymorth Dysgu Technoleg Ddigidol (DTLSN)
Y rhwydwaith, gyda chefnogaeth platfform digidol
Crynodeb o'r Prosiect: Mae'r prosiect ymchwil hwn yn ymwneud â sefydlu Rhwydwaith Cymorth Dysgu Technoleg Ddigidol (DTLSN) yn rhanbarth Blaenau Gwent (BG). Bydd y rhwydwaith, a hwylusir gan blatfform digidol, yn darparu profiad dysgu arloesol sy'n gweithio gyda'r gymuned gyfan, gan addysgu'r plant, y rhieni a'r athro gyda'i gilydd. Nod y prosiect hwn yw galluogi cymorth dysgu cydlynol i ddisgyblion, athrawon a rhieni wrth weithredu'r cwricwlwm newydd yng Nghymru a'r cymhwyster TGAU Technoleg Ddigidol newydd, gan ddechrau ym mis Medi 2021. Drwy ddilys, rydym yn golygu rhwydwaith sy'n berthnasol i'r holl randdeiliaid yn y byd go iawn. Er enghraifft, bydd yn rhoi cyfle i gyfranogwyr ymgymryd â gweithgareddau a gwersi sy'n caniatáu ar gyfer meddwl creadigol a chyfrifiadurol, atebion arloesol sy'n cystadlu ac amrywiaeth o ganlyniadau. Wrth wneud hynny, bydd yn sefydlu deialog rhwng plant ysgol a’u rhieni, eu hathrawon ac yn gwella eu hymgysylltiad â thechnoleg ddigidol. Yn y tymor hir bydd DTLSN yn helpu i greu diwylliant TGCh mwy cynhwysol ac amrywiol yng Nghymru.
