Hello All!
Hopefully everyone is rested after the Easter break. It’s time for our last Thinking Differently meeting of the academic year. We wanted to end on a positive note, so this month’s meeting will be on Our Inspirations – family and friends, celebrities, or people in the news.
We will be talking about those with learning differences, or those who have supported ours, who make us feel inspired.
We will also be saying farewell to our wonderful co-ordinator Amy, and meet the new co-ordinators for next year, so do please come along on Friday 6th May at 12.30-1.30

Hello all, we are back with another Thinking Differently meeting at 12:30pm on the 11th of February. This meeting will be centered on how teaching and learning at university can be more accessible to neurodiverse students in ways that are perhaps not obvious.
We are hoping many of you will come with ideas of your own. Topics can include ideas such as how Learning Central could be easier to navigate, how lecture formats might be improved, how information is presented, how work is assessed and how students are supported. We are hoping this discussion will be more student-led, and we hope to see you then with all your great ideas and contributions.

Disability matters! – Celebrate International Day of People with Disabilities with us on campus
This event offers a fantastic opportunity to find out more about what our students and graduates with disabilities, or long-term health conditions have gone on to achieve. Hear personal stories about students’ journeys around their disabilities, including the challenges they have experienced and overcome, and the successes they’ve celebrated.
There will be an opportunity to find out about the wide range of support available from within the University and from external support organisations. Teams will be offering 1-2-1 meeting slots if you'd like a more confidential conversation.
This event will be popular, so please make sure you book your space https://cardiff.targetconnect.net/leap/event.html?id=17053&service=Careers+Service
However, feel free to see if there's space by coming along on the day if you miss out on booking online

Howdy all,
I am setting myself a new challenge although this time the idea is to raise money for a good cause. I am walking 100 miles throughout May to raise funds for Breast cancer Now as it's something I feel passionately about. Absolutely no pressure but any support would be much appreciated. You are welcome to join me (virtually) at any point! Any questions, give me a shout!
Thanks a million everyone! 😀
