The countdown to summer is officially on, and our friendly team can't wait to welcome everyone to our Out of School Academy for an action-packed summer of fun! 🌈🌳

We've got an amazing programme full of exciting adventures. Creative indoor and outdoor activities, outdoor exploration 🧭locally, at the coast or the Brecon Beacons National Park🚌🚐, outdoor cooking♨️, team games, sports🎯, crafts, Forest School experiences, special themed days, and so much more!

Every day is designed to keep children active, engaged, making new friends, and creating unforgettable memories. 💚

What a fantastic few weeks we have had! 😊

The children have been busy exploring, creating, and having lots of fun through a variety of exciting activities. They used loose parts to design and build their own cars and other forms of transportation, showing great imagination and problem-solving skills. 🚗🚂✈️

The children also enjoyed getting creative with Hama beads, carefully making colourful designs while developing their fine motor skills. 🌈✨

There was plenty of excitement outdoors too, with lots of smiles and laughter as the children took turns on the zip line! 😄

We also explored natural remedies and materials from nature to create some wonderful faces, encouraging creativity and discussions about the world around us. 🍃🌼

It has been wonderful to see the children's confidence, creativity, and teamwork shine through in all of these activities. Well done, everyone - what a great few weeks we have had! ❤️

The children have been busy since returning to Out of School Academy! 🚴🌈

To celebrate Bike Day, the children put their creativity to the test by designing their very own bike helmets. We saw lots of fantastic ideas, bright colours, and important safety features included in their designs!

We have also been exploring Pride through a range of fun and engaging activities, encouraging discussions about kindness, respect, inclusion, and celebrating what makes each of us unique.

It's been wonderful to see the children learning, creating, and sharing their ideas together. We can't wait for more exciting adventures this term!

The children at Toadhall Holiday Club had a wonderful time exploring St Fagans! 🌿🏛️

From discovering the fascinating history and traditional buildings to enjoying the beautiful outdoor spaces, the day was filled with learning, laughter, and adventure. The children loved stepping back in time and experiencing all that St Fagans has to offer.

A fantastic day making memories together! 😊

Toadhall Holiday Club had a fantastic first day of half term! ☀️🌳

We stayed cool in the shade of the forest, climbed trees, and played lots of games while making sure we practised safe sun habits by wearing our sunhats, ensuring our sunceeam was applies and by drinking plenty of water, to keep us cool throughout the day. 💧🧢

The children also got creative with some brilliant junk modelling activities! ♻️🎨

We can’t wait for another fun-filled day tomorrow!

We’ve been busy learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly—getting creative with pasta to bring each stage to life! 🐛🦋

Alongside our learning, we’ve been making the most of the fresh air by spending time in the garden, burning off plenty of energy and enjoying the outdoors.

To top it all off, we got crafty making beautiful spring wreaths, celebrating the season in style! 🌸
