Super busy times at ETA Medical Ltd Training Centre this month!

From launching our FREC 3 course, with two courses already fully booked, to working behind the scenes supporting other training centres with their IQA requirements, it’s certainly been a busy one.

We’ve also been delighted to start building some fantastic relationships with local clinical teams through our BLS for Clinical Practice courses.

It’s been a brilliant month and we’re excited to see what the rest of the year brings. We can’t wait to welcome even more of you through our doors and onto our courses!

Are you a Community First Responder wishing to expand on your knowledge in the pre-hospital setting?

ETA Medical Ltd are very happy to announce our FREC 3 RPL course, exclusively open to CFRs only! This means that you will use your CFR qualification to meet some of the criteria needed for FREC 3. This allows you to complete the course (and gain the full qualification) in 2 days rather than 5! We have 2 course dates available for you to choose from.

Course 1 - 1st & 2nd September
09:30 - 17:30

Course 2 - 26th & 27th September
09:30 - 17:30

You will be taught everything from medical conditions to trauma by our pre-hospital clinician trainers, ranging from ECA to Senior Paramedic. You really couldn't ask for a better team!

We’re buzzing to be supporting Canvey Island Community First Responders as our Charity of the Year! Their volunteers are out there doing incredible lifesaving work, and we’re cheering them on every step of the way.

Well, June has certainly been a busy month for the team at ETA Medical! From exciting projects and new opportunities to supporting our clients and delivering great results, it’s been a month full of momentum and progress. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, strengthening partnerships, responding to demand and continuing to provide the high standards of service that our team is known for.

Happy Volunteers’ Week!

Everyone at ETA Medical would like to say a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who dedicate their time to supporting our local communities.

As our Charity of the Year for 2026, the Canvey Island First Responders hold a special place in our hearts. These dedicated volunteers work alongside the ambulance service, responding to emergency calls within the local area and often arriving before an ambulance crew. Their early intervention can make a life-saving difference in critical situations such as cardiac arrests, breathing difficulties and other medical emergencies.

Community First Responders play a vital role in improving patient outcomes by providing immediate care when every second counts. This is why learning CPR is so important. In the event of a cardiac arrest, early CPR can significantly increase a person’s chances of survival while waiting for professional medical help to arrive.

At ETA Medical, we’re passionate about equipping people with the skills and confidence to act in an emergency. Our CPR and First Aid training courses are designed to give individuals, businesses and community groups the knowledge they need to make a real difference when it matters most.

This Volunteers’ Week, we celebrate all volunteers and extend our sincere thanks to the amazing team at Canvey Island First Responders for their continued commitment to keeping our community safe. ❤️
